​Crochet Brown-Beige Cardigan

You’ll need:

500g of grey yarn (6% acryl, 40% wool);

150g of the same yarn, but in brown color;

100g of the same yarn, but in light-brown color;

50g of the same yarn, but in cream color;

80g of fancy yarn (60% acryl, 30% wool, 10% polyamide) in beige-brown color;

Crochet hook 5;

2 snaps.

Size: M.

Stitches control: 13 sts = 10 cm.

Side of motif = about 12 cm.

Back

Make 4 motifs due to the scheme 1, alternate the colors of yarn in the following order: initial ring and 1^st row with fancy yarn, 2^nd row – with light-brown yarn, 3^rd row – grey yarn, 4^th row – brown yarn. Connect motifs (see pattern design). Lift 62 sts along upper edge with brown yarn and make 2 rows of single crochets with brown yarn, 2 rows of with grey yarn and 2 rows with brown yarn. Continue work with jacquard pattern due to the scheme 2 for 10 rows, decrease 1 st in the 1^st row = 61 sts. Then, make 2 rows of single crochets with grey yarn, 2 rows with brown yarn. Continue work with fancy pattern due to the scheme 3 with grey yarn, increase 1 st in the 1^st row = 62 sts, alternating the colors of yarn in the 4^th and 8^th rows in the following way: fancy yarn, brown yarn, light-brown yarn. Continue crocheting all the rows with grey yarn. At 46 cm height, bind off 2 sts from both sides for arm-hole and decrease 3 x 1 st in every row = 52 sts. At 66 cm height, after getting 12 sts for each shoulder and 28 sts for neck-hole, finish your work.

Right Front

Make 2 motifs due to the scheme 1, alternate the colors of yarn in the same way, as for back, and connect them. Lift 31 sts along upper edge with brown yarn and continue work, alternating the colors of yarn and patterns in the same way, as for back. At 46 cm height, bind off 2 sts for arm-holes and decrease 3 x 1 st in every row = 26 sts. At 49 cm height from the beginning of work, decrease 14 x 1 st in every row for neck-hole. At 66 cm height, after getting 12 sts for shoulder, finish your work.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Sleeves

Make 2 motifs due to the scheme 1 and connect them (see pattern design). Lift 32 sts along upper edge with brown yarn and make 2 rows of single crochets with brown yarn, 2 rows of single crochets with grey yarn, 2 rows of single crochets with brown yarn. Continue work due to the scheme 3 with grey yarn, increase 6 x 1 st in every 4^th row from both sides = 44 sts. At 46 cm height, bind off 2 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, then, decrease 10 x 1 st in every row = 20 sts and finish your work. Total height is about 56 cm.

Assembly

Make all the seams and sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes. Fasten the edges of front with 2 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch” with grey yarn. Sew buttons to the right front. Sew snaps from inwards.
