​Dragon Crochet Vest

You’ll need:

200g of 100% acryl yarn (292m/100g) in white color;

50g of the same yarn, but in green color;

Odds of light-green and grey color;

Crochet hook 2,5;

Rib.

Size: 2-3 years,

Note: work as one-piece cloth.

Instructions

Make 88 chain sts.

1^st row: 88 chain sts;

2^nd-23^rd rows: double crochet, single crochet by turn.

Divide your work into 3 parts: 21 sts for each part of front, 44 sts for back and crochet each detail separately for 12 more rows. Crochet only edging 14 sts in the last 3 rows for forming shoulder.

Pocket

Make squares. Make 5 chain sts, circle them in the ring. 1^st row: 10 single crochets in the center of the ring;

2^nd-4^th rows: single crochets, increase 1 crochet in every 2 crochets;

5^th-7^th rows: work with white yarn, 1 double crochet, 1 single crochet by turn.

Then, make 8^th, 10^th, 13^th row in the same way with green yarn, 11^th-12^th, 14^th rows – white yarn.

Hood

It consists of 3 parts. For central part, make 20 chain sts and 28 rows, 1 double crochet and 1 single crochet by turn. For side parts, make 15 chain sts for each part and make in the same way, as central part.

Wings

Make 25 chain sts and work due to the scheme 1. Fasten wings with 1 row of single crochets.

Assembly

Connect both halves of front and sew them from front side to 23 cm height, sew shoulder seams. Fasten arm-holes with 2 rows of single crochets with white yarn and 1 row of green yarn. Fasten neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets with white yarn. Fasten bottom with 2 rows of single crochets with grey yarn. Sew wings to back. Fasten the central part of hood with green yarn from both sides due to the scheme 2, sew side parts. Fasten hood with 1 row of double crochets, then, due to the scheme 2 along front with green yarn. Connect 2 threads of green and light-green yarn and make 2 chain of 50 cm long. Insert 1^st chain in the hood, draw the 2^nd chain along the edge of pocket between double crochets.
