​Crochet Mohair Jacket

You’ll need:

200g of light-blue yarn (80% mohair, 20% polyamide; 245m/25g) in 2 threads of yarn;

Crochet hook 3;

12 crystals.

Relief pattern: due to the scheme 1;

Fringe: due to the scheme 2;

Leaves: due to the schemes 3 and 4;

Flower: make 4 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st.

1^st row: 3 chain sts increase, * 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet*; repeat from * to * x 4 times, 2 chain sts, 1 slip st in chain st increase.

2^nd row: 1 single crochets in the arch of 2 chain sts, 4 double crochets, 1 single crochet;

3^rd row: 2 chain sts increase, * 4 chain sts, 1 single crochet in double crochet of the 1^st row*; repeat from * to * x 4 times, 4 chain sts, 1 slip st in chain st increase;

4^th row: 1 single crochets in every arch of 4 chain sts, 1 single crochet, 5 double crochets and 1 single crochet;

5^th row: 2 chain sts increase, * 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet in double crochet of the 3^rd row*; repeat from * to * x 4 times, 5 chain sts, 1 slip st in chain st increase;

6^th row: 1 single crochet in every arch of 5 chain sts, 7 double crochets and 1 single crochet.

Flower-bud: 5 chain sts + 4 chain sts increase, make 5 treble crochets in every chain st.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 4 pattern repeats x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 145 chain sts + 4 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern. For better fitting, decrease 2 x ½ pattern repeat in every 6^th row from both sides. In 18 rows from the set-up row, increase 2 x ½ pattern repeats in every 4^th row from both sides. In 26 rows from the set-up row, leave 1 x 1 pattern repeat and 2 x ½ pattern repeat in every 4^th row from both sides. In 41 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 6 pattern repeats for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. In 43 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Left Front

Make 81 chain sts + 4 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern. Make arm-hole in the same way, as back from right side. In 26 rows from the set-up row, decrease 6 x ½ pattern repeat in every 2^nd row from the left side. Finish your work at the height of back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 81 chain sts + 4 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern. In 8 rows from the set-up row, increase 6 x ½ pattern repeat in every 4^th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers. In 32 rows from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 1 pattern repeat in every row from both sides and 11 x ½ pattern repeat. In 44 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten all the edges with fringe. For strap, make 161 chain sts and work with fringe. Make leaves, flowers and flower-buds and decorate your jacket. Sew crystal in the center of every flower.
