You’ll need:

650g of brown yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 392m/100g);

Knitting needles 2.

Size: M.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Stitches control: 20 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: work in 2 threads of yarn.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 92 sts with knitting needles and make 6 rows of stockinette stitch for turndown. Then, work with purls on RS for bend. Then, work with stockinette stitch for 20 rows, decrease 4 x 1 st from both sides in every 9 rows = 40 rows. After that, decrease 3 x 1 st from both sides in every 12 rows = 39 rows. Then, decrease 1 st from both sides in every 4 rows x 3 times = 10 rows, after that, decrease 2 x 1 st from both sides in 2 rows = 6 rows. Knit 47 rows (about 16 cm) from the waist line, increase 3 x 1 st from both sides in 4 rows. Bind off 2 sts from both sides for arm-holes. Then, decrease 7 x 1 st from both sides in a row = 14 rows. After that, decrease 2 x 1 st in 2 rows = 6 rows. Bind off the sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back till arm-hole. For forming arm-holes, bind off 2 sts from both sides, then, decrease 5 x 1 st in a row = 10 rows. Then, divide your work in half and knit each side separately, for this, bind off 7 sts from the middle of work in every part (making neck-hole). Then, bind off 2 sts in every row from inwards for smooth rounding. At the same time, make arm-hole, decreasing 2 x 1 st form both sides in a row = 4 rows. Then, decrease 2 x 1 st in 2 rows = 6 rows. Bind off the sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 44 sts, make 4 rows with stockinette stitch for sleeve turndown. Then, make 1 row of purls on RS for bend. Knit 96 rows = 30 cm. Increase 7 x 1 st form both sides in every 8 rows = 63 rows. Then, bind off 2 sts from both sides for sleeve caps. After that, decrease 3 x 1 st in 2 rows = 9 rows. Bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Sew the side and sleeve seams, sew up the sleeves, bend the bottom of sleeves and border of dress. Cast on 260 sts from inwards of neck-hole and work with 1 x 1 rib for 17 rows, then, make 1 WS row in order to make turndown, make collar to down on RS. After making 19 rows, bind off the sts and sew neck-hole placket from RS of your dress.
