I would like to know where to get written out patterns. I started crocheting about 60 years ago and I have trouble with these new patterns. Any help would be very helpful.
Thank You.

OR is this how you are forcing us to pay for directions? Let us see something we really love and then jerking the ‘free’ out from under me. I don’t understand, or do I?

And I thought I was the only “old school” crocheter! Either give us written instructions or don’t publish the pictures. Glad we aren’t the flaming idiots requesting written instructions!!!

A lovely old woman shares her patterns and the replies are so unkind. There were not always printed words for crocheting. Reading a chart is a great skill to have. Use this for growth instead of insulting the one with a gift...Reading a chart

These instructions are self explanatory, just look at the picture carefully and try, these are the kind of instructions I mostly use.
These are beautiful by the way, I have a friend that all her ornaments on her Christmas tree are crocheted. She is going to love the first one. Thank you

I enjoy using charts, as I find reading a pattern difficult. I first started crocheting in 1964 my Mother taught me and my two Sisters.
