​Elegant Crochet Jacket

You’ll need:

800g of yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl) in blue-green color;

Crochet hook 4,5;

1 button.

Size: L.

Special Stitches

Long stitches: make initial chain + 1 chain st increase.

1^st row: single crochets;

2^nd row: 2 chain sts increase, * insert crochet hook in the next st, put the working yarn above the first finger, put under second finger and catch it between the second and ring fingers, draw through single crochets. Crochet both sts on the crochet hook together with yarn over, take off your finger from the st*; repeat from * to * from every single crochet of lower row.

Repeat these 2 rows.

Long sts are formed on the WS of work.

Fancy patterns: due to the schemes 1 and 2.

Stitches control: 14 sts = 10 cm.

Note: work in 2 threads of yarn from up to down.

Make 61 chain sts (13 sts for every shoulder and 35 sts for neck-hole) and work due to the scheme 1. At 22 cm height, which is the 3^rd row of the scheme, make 6 chain sts from both sides for arm-holes and continue work with the same pattern. At 72 cm height, cut the yarn.

Right Front

Make 31 chain sts and work due to the scheme 1. At 22 cm height, which is the 3^rd row of the scheme, make 6 chain sts from both sides for arm-holes and continue work with the same pattern. At 72 cm height, cut the yarn.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Sleeves

Make 57 chain sts and work due to the scheme 2. Decrease 8 x 1 st after the 1^st selvage st in every 4^th row from both sides = 41 sts. At 50 cm height, cut the yarn.

Collar

Make 70 chain sts and work with long sts. At 9 cm height, cut the yarn.

Assembly

Make seams and sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes. Fasten front and neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets. Sew the collar to the neck-hole line, leave 3 cm open of each front. Fasten the front with 1 row of single crochets, making 3 buttons-loops (4 chain sts, skip 2 sts). Sew the buttons.
