​Nice Top with Lace Yoke

You’ll need:

350 (400) g of bright-pink Linie 11 Alpha yarn (100% cotton; 104m/50g);

Knitting needles 3,5;

Crochet hook 3 and 3,5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the ornament, yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1^st-8^throws.

Lace pattern: due to the scheme 2. Start every circle row as stated, pattern repeat, finish with 1 slip st in chain st increase. Make 1^st-8^th rows x once, make the 1^st row with crochet hook 3, all the rest rows – with crochet hook 3,5.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 25 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Lace pattern: 21 sts = 10 cm.

Instructions

Front/Back

Cast on 115 (131) sts and work with relief pattern. In 40 cm from the set-up row, bind off 5 sts from both sides for arm-holes, 1 x 4 sts, 1 (2) x 3 sts, 1 x 1 st and 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. In 8 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Make side seams. Make 68 (73) single crochets, connecting them between one another with the help of 44 (53) chain sts (= 1^st row of the scheme) and make 7 rows of lace pattern for the lace yoke along the upper edge of front and back. Fasten arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch”.
