Bright Pink Knit Tunic
You’ll need:
350 (400) 400 g of bright pink Kappa yarn (97% cotton, 3% polyester; 125m/50g);
Knitting needles 4 and 4,5.
Size: S (M) L.
Used Patterns
Stockinette stitch, knitting needles 4: in RS rows – knit sts, in WS – purls;
Relief pattern, knitting needles 4,5: due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows sts and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvedge st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat, 1 selvedge st. Repeat 1st-32nd rows.
Stitches control: stockinette stitch: 21 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Relief pattern: 23,5 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Lower Part of Front and Back
Cast on 103 (112) 121 sts and work with relief pattern. In 40 cm from set-up row, bind off all the sts.
Bra
Cast on 5 sts and work with stockinette stitch, increase 2 x 4 sts and 5 x 5 sts from left side in every 2nd row. In 85 (93) 101 cm from the set-up row, bind off 5 sts from the left side and 4 x 5 sts, 2 x 4 sts and 1 x 5 sts in every 2nd row, then, bind off the rest 5 sts.
Assembly
Make side seams, sew the bra, gathering up to 5 cm (= middle of front), twist the gathering with cable and sew the ends.
For straps, make cables of stripes (it is needed about 70% more length for twist, i.e., for 44 cm strap you need 74 cm stripe). For the stripe, cast on 5 sts and make 74 cm of stockinette stitch and bind off the sts. Make 6 stripesand 2 cables. Sewthestraps. Make 10 cm long cable for the bra.
