You'll need:

450g of white 100% cotton yarn (90m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 4,5;

Circle knitting needles 4,5;

Auxiliary needle;

Big pin;

Needle with big eye;

4 buttons.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in right-side rows - knit sts, in wrong-side sts - purls;

"Beads" pattern: due to the scheme;

"Arans" (cables) pattern: due to the scheme.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 110 sts and knit the basque - 7 cm (16 rows) with stockinette stitch. Make the next row in the following way: 3 sts of stockinette stitch, * cross 6 sts to right, 1 st of stockinette stitch*; repeat from * to * x 14 times, 2 sts of stockinette stitch. Next row: purls, decrease 27 sts. Then, work with cables and "beads" patterns due to the scheme. After 26 cm from the beginning of the scheme, bind off 4 sts from both sides for forming chamfers. After making 15 cm of arm-holes, transfer the central 45 sts to the big pin and finish each part separately. Make 2 rows and the sts of each shoulder (15 sts for each shoulder) to the big pin.

Right Front

Cast on 60 sts and make basque due to the description of back. Next row: 6 sts of stockinette stitch, * cross 6 sts to right, 1st of stockinette stitch*; repeat from * to * x 6 sts, 5 sts of stockinette stitch. Next row: purls, decrease 13 sts. Continue working with cables and "beads" patterns due to the scheme. Don't forget to make button-holes. After 26 cm from the beginning, bind off 4 sts along the left edge for the arm-hole. After 28,5 cm from the 1st row decrease 2 sts x 14 in every 2nd row after thhe 1st st for neck-hole. After 13,5 cm from the beginning of neck-hole, transfer the rest 15 sts to the big pin.

Left Front

Make in reflection to the right front, but without button-holes.

Sleeves

Make 2 the same details.

Cast on 61 st and make fringe in the same way, as basque for back. Next row: 3 sts of stockinette stitch, * cross 6 sts to right, 1 st of stockinette stitch*; repeat from * to * x 7 times, 2 sts of stockinette stitch. Next row: purls, decrease 16 sts. Continue with stockinette stitch, increase 1 st x 3 in every 10th row from both sides and 1 st x 5 in every 8th row.

After 33 cm from the 1st right-side row, bind off 3 sts from both sides for sleeve cap and 1 st x 10 in every even row before selvedge st. In 9 cm from the beginning of cap, bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Connect the shoulder seams with kitcheners seam. Lift 280 sts with circle knitting needles along the edges of front, neck-hole and back. Make 3 cm (6 rows) of placket with stockinette stitch. Bind off the sts. Make side, sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves. Sew the buttons.
