Dog Paw Crochet Applique

You'll need:

YarnArt Jeans yarn of white and black colors (160m/50g);

Crochet hook 2 mm.

Instructions

Base (white yarn)

Start with a ring.

Change 1 double crochet to 3 chain sts in the beginning of row.

1st row: 12 double crochets, slip st (12);

2nd row: * 12 increases* (2 sts from 1 st), slip st (24);

3rd row: * Increase, 1 double crochet*, slip st (36);

4th row: * 2 double crochets, increase*, slip st (48).

You should get circle.

Turn to making 4 toes.

5th row: 1 chain st, * skip 1 st, in the next st - 2 double crochets, 3 treble crochets, 2 double crochets, skip 1 st, 1 single crochet in the next 2 sts* x 4 times, then crochet around, repeating (2 single crochets, increase);

6th row: fasten each toe, * (1 half double crochet, increase) x 3 times, 1 half double crochet, skip 1 st, 1 single crochet in the next st* x 4 times, finish the rest sts with single crochets.

Finish the base part with slip st, cut the white yarn and fasten it.

Paw Pads (black yarn)

1st row: in the ring, * 13 double crochtes*, slip st;

2nd row: * 2 chain sts, 2 treble crochets in 1 st, 1 treble crochet, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in 1 st, 1 double crochet, 3 treble crochets in 1 st, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in 1 st, 1 double crochets, 2 treble crochets in 1 st, 2 chain sts*, slip st;

3rd row: 2 half double crochets in 2 chain sts of the previous row, 2 half double crochets in 1 st x 8 times, 2 double crochets in 1 st, 2 half double crochets in 1 st x 8 times, 2 half double crochets in 2 chain sts of the previous row.

Finish work with slip st, cut the black yarn, leave 15-17 cm end for sewing.

Make 4 toe pads.

In the ring - * 4 double crochets, 4 treble crochets, 4 double crochets*, tighten the ring, slip st.

Cut the yarn, leave 10-13 cm for sewing.

Sew the pads to the base.
