You'll need:

Different colors of felt;

Stuffing;

Moline threads;

Very small flower pots;

Wet foam.

Instructions

For the first cactus, resembling an echinocactus, cut a circle from felt, about twice as wide as the finished version should be. Use the floss to sew the needle forward along the contour, and then pull the felt. Fill with filler and tighten the thread, tying it to a knot.

Take a long thread, tie a knot at the end and pull the needle out of the center of the workpiece. Then draw the needle through the center again, repeat until the stitches divide the workpiece into 8 parts. You will end by pulling the needle through the center once again - just pull it back and tie a strong knot at the base.

For the second cactus, draw a sketch and cut out two details. Sew them manually or on a typewriter, leaving a packing hole. With the help of knitting needles.

For the last cactus, make 6 identical felt blanks (slightly larger in size than the final version). Fold them in two and sew them, leaving the bottom unstitched. Then fold all three blanks, pin them with a pin and sew in the middle. Fill each compartment with filler.

Now we need to make the "ground" for cacti. Take brown felt and carefully sew the base of each cactus. If your cacti are well packed, they will be quite stable.

Having decided on the pots in which the cacti will be located, cut a piece that is suitable for diameter and height from the floral foam (or polystyrene foam), and then trim the “ground” under it (the felt should slightly protrude beyond the edges of the foam).
