Instructions

RND 1: Ch 30

Building the Rows

ROW 1: with Hot Orange color sc in second ch from hook, sc each ch across. Turn.

ROW 2: 1 ch, sc in each st across. Turn. (Chain 1 does not count as 1st st.)

ROW 3: 1 ch, sc in first 2 sts, fpdc around next st two rows below, *sc in next 2 sts, fpdc around next st two rows below, rep from * until 2 sts left, sc in last 2 sts changing to Yellow yarn in last yo of last st. Turn.

ROW 4: 1 ch, sc in first st and each st across. Turn.

ROW 5: 1 ch, sc in first 2 sts, fpdc around fpdc from two rows below, *sc in next 2 sts, fpdc around fpdc from two rows below, rep from * until 2 sts rem, sc in last 2 sts changing to Hot Orange yarn in last yo of last st. Turn.

ROW 6: 1 ch, sc in each st across. Turn.

ROW 7: 1 ch, sc in first 2 sts, fpdc around fpdc from two rows below, *sc in next 2 sts, fpdc around fpdc from two rows below, rep from * until 2 sts rem, sc in last 2 sts changing to Yellow yarn in the last yo of last st. Turn.

Repeat Rows 4–7 for rows 32 or until desired length is reached, don’t change color on final row ending with a row of single crochet.

Cut and knot yarn. Weave in all ends.

For the all orange dishcloth, I chained 33 and did 36 rows.
