MATERIALS

Yarn rests, e.g. Schachenmayr Catania 50 g/137 yds, Sport Yarn, 5ply, crochet hook 2,5 mm, Kinder-Surprise Egg Shell, beads.

ABBREVIATIONS

ch =chain
st= stitch

sc=single crochet

dc=double crochet

dec = decrease stitch (two single crochets together)

inc = increase stitch (two single crochets into one stitch)

Rnd=Round

INSTRUCTIONS

I don´t join rounds with the help of slip stitch but crochet in a circle.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic circle.

Rnd 2: inc 6 times (12 sts)

Rnd 3: *sc in next st, inc* (18 sts)

Rnd 4: *sc in each of next 2 sts, inc* (24 sts)

Rnd 5: *sc in each of next 3 sts, inc* (30 sts)

Rnd 6: sc in each of next 30 sts

Rnd 7: *sc in each of next 4 sts, inc* (36 sts)

Rnd 8-9: (working in the back loop) sc in each of next 36 sts

TOPPING

Rnd 1-5 (working in the back loop): sc in each of next 36 sts.

Rnd 6 (working in the back loop):*dec, sc in each of next 4 sts* (30 sts)

Put shell inside.

Rnd 7 (working in the back loop):*dec, sc in each of next 3 sts* (24 sts)

Rnd 8 (working in the back loop): *dec, sc in each of next 2 sts* (18 sts)

Rnd 9 (working in the back loop): *dec, sc in next st* (12 sts)

Rnd 10: *dec*

Cast off leaving a long tail for sewing a bead.

Join new yarn to the 1st round of the topping.

*sc in each of next 3 sts, 5 dc in the next st*, till the end of the Rnd.

Cast off.

FINISHING

Sew bead on the top of the cupcake.
