Whether you're a crochet enthusiast or simply looking for a unique keychain, this adorable creation is a must-have that radiates joy and creativity. Brighten up your day and show off your whimsical side with this adorable Crochet Fried Egg Keychain!

You will need:

  • Worsted weight yarn in yellow and white
  • Size G (4mm) hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Keychain ring (optional)
Pattern is in US terminology.

sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
tr=triple crochet
inc= increase
dec= decrease
BLO= back loop only
st= slip stich

Start with a magic ring or ch 2 in yellow.
Round 1: 6sc in ring (6)
Round 2: inc around (12)
Round 3-4: sc around (12)
Round 5: dec around in BLO (6)
Bind off. Use a yarn needle to cinch hole shut.
Attach white to any of the ridges that you created in round 5.
Round 6: inc around (12)
Round 7: sc, inc (18)
Round 8: You can pretty much go nuts here. I try to include a few increases here and there just so the piece doesn't curve. An example of a stitch pattern I used in this row:
dc inc, hdc, 3 sc, dc inc, hdc, sc 2, st, ch 1, dc inc, tr, dc, hc, sc, st, sc, dc inc, sc 3
But you can pretty much customize the row however you want. No two eggs will be the same!
