Crochet Little Bitty Hearts

If you're looking to add some charm and whimsy to your crafts, crochet little bitty hearts are just the thing! These adorable hearts are perfect for sprucing up your projects, whether you want to embellish a blanket, create a heartfelt bookmark, or even make a sweet keychain. Crocheting these tiny delights is a joyful experience that offers a lovely way to show your love and attention to detail. They make wonderful gifts for friends and loved ones, adding a touch of handmade warmth wherever they go. So grab your crochet hook and some colorful yarn, and let's spread the love one tiny heart at a time!

For this pattern you will need:

-Worsted weight yarn (size 4)

-Polyester Fiber Fill

-3.75mm crochet hook

-Yarn needle

-Scissors

-Stitch markers

Sc- single crochet

Inc- increase (sc twice in one stitch)

ss- slip stitch

sc 3 in 1- put 3 sc into one stitch

hdc 3 in 1- put 3 hdc into one stitch

Round 3: Ss, hdc inc, hdc 3 in 1, hdc inc, sc 2, into ch 1 space place (sc 1, ch 1, sc 1) , sc 2, hdc inc, hdc 3 in one, hdc inc [21 +1 ch]

Round 4: Ss, hdc inc in the next 5 st, sc 5, into ch 1 space place (sc 1, ch 1, sc 1), sc 5, hdc inc in the next 5 st [32 + 1 ch]

Ss into first st of round 4 and tie off leaving a long tail for sewing. Before you sew them up, they may look a little wonky and not so heart-shaped, but worry not, that will change as you assemble and stuff them!

Assembly:

Line both hearts up with the wrong sides together, so that the right sides are facing outward. Sew them together through the back loops of round 4, stuff with a bit of fiber fill or scrap yarn and you’re all done!

If you want, you can add eyes and a mouth to make a cute little friend!
