Size 10 crochet cotton in 2 colors of your choice. I used blue and white
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 7"x2"
Skill Level: Beginner

Instructions
ROW 1: With blue. Ch17. Dc in 8th ch from hook. *Ch2. Sk 2 chs. Dc in next ch. Rep from * across. Ch5, turn. (4 open mesh spaces)

ROW 2: Dc in next dc. Ch3, sc in next dc. Ch3. Dc in next dc. Ch2. Dc in 3rd ch of ch5. Ch5, turn.

ROW 3: Dc in next dc. Ch6. Dc in next dc. Ch2. Dc in 3rd ch of the next ch5 sp. Ch5, turn.

ROW 4: Dc in next dc. Ch2. Sc in next ch6 sp. Ch2. Dc in next dc. Ch2. Dc in 3rd ch of the next ch5 sp. Ch5, turn.

ROW 5: Dc in next dc. Ch2. Dc in next sc. ch2. Dc in next dc. Ch2. Dc in 3rd ch of ch5 sp. Ch5, turn.

ROW 6-21: Rep rows 2-5 consecutively 4 times more. At the end of row 21, fasten off and weave ends into back of work.

RND 1 of perimeter: Join white in top left corner sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch3, dc, ch5, dc, ch3, 3dc in same corner sp. Sc in next sp. (3dc, ch3, 3dc in next row. Sc in next row.) Rep bet () 8 times more.
