Materials Needed

16oz Worsted weight acrylic yarn in white
16oz Worsted weight acrylic yarn in Delft Blue.
Size H/8 or 5mm aluminum crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Yarn Thickness: 4mm
Gauge: 4dc=1"
Finished Size: 41½"L x 40"W
Skill Level: Intermediate

Instructions
ROW 1: w/blue, ch 143. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch3, turn.

ROW 2: Sk first sc. Dc in next sc. Ch2. Sk next 2 sc. *Dc in each of the next 2 sc. Ch2. Sk next 2 sc. Dc in each of the next 2sc. Rep from * across. When you get to the very last dc and before pulling the yarn through the last 2 lps on hook, drop the blue and join the white and then pull through last 2 lps on hook to finish the last dc. Ch1, turn.

ROW 3: Sc in each of the first 2 dc. *Dc in each of the next 2 dc behind the ch2 sp. Sc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep from * across ending with the last sc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 4: Sk first sc. Dc in next sc. (Ch2. Sk next 2 dc. Dc in each of the next 2 sc.) Rep bet () 33 times more. Ch2. Sk next 2 dc. Dc in next dc. Work a dc in last sc but before drawing through last 2 lps on hook, drop white and pick up blue, draw blue through last 2 lps on hook. Ch1, turn.

ROW 5: Sc in each of the first 2 dc. *Dc in each of the next 2 skipped dc behind ch2 sp. Sc in each of the next 2 dc. Rep from * across ending with the last sc in top of ch3. Ch3, turn.

ROW 6: Sk first sc. Dc in next sc. (Ch2. Sk next 2 dc. Dc in each of the next 2 sc.) Rep bet () 33 times more. Ch2. Sk next 2 dc. Dc in next dc. Work a dc in last sc but before drawing through last 2 lps on hook, drop blue and pick up white, draw white through last 2 lps on hook. Ch1, turn.

ROWs 7-122: Rep ROWs 3, 4, 5, 6 consecutively. You should end with ROW 6.

ROW 123: Rep ROW 3. Fasten off and weave all ends into back of work.

Perimeter:
Lay blanket down infront of you so ROW 123 is at the top and the blanket is right side up, so the ch2 lps are up. Join white to top right corner stitch. Ch1. Sc in same st and in each st across to the next corner. Ch2, to turn the corner. Now work 1 sc in each sc row and 2sc in each dc row down the left side. Ch2 to go around the corner. Sc in each st across the bottom. Ch2, to go around the next corner. Work 1 sc in each sc row and 2 sc in each dc row up the right hand side up to where you started the perimeter. Ch2. Join w/slst to ch1. Fasten off and weave all ends into back of work.
