Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

10 dozen multi-colored rhinestones...Bone ring.

GAUGE: 6 sc make 1 inch; 5 rows make 1 inch.

Starting at bottom with Spanish Red, ch 18. 1st row: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (17 sc). Ch 1, turn. 2nd to 8th rows incl: Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. 9th row: 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. 10th, 11th and 12th rows: Repeat 2nd row. 13th to 20th rows incl: Repeat last 4 rows 2 times more. 21st row: Repeat 9th row. 22nd row: Repeat 2nd row. 23rd and 24th rows: Repeat last 2 rows once more (22 sc). 25th row: Skip first sc, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. 26th row: Repeat 2nd row. 27th row: Repeat 25th row. Repeat last row until 14 sc remain. Break off. Attach Canary Yellow to one side edge and make 2 rows of sc along both sides and top. Break off. Make another piece the same way. Sew straight edges (center) of both pieces together. Attach Canary Yellow to last sc of 2nd row at bottom of piece, sc in same place and in next Yellow sc, sc in each ch of starting chain and in each sc of center and complete row to correspond. Ch 1, turn. Next row: Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. Repeat last row 2 more times. Last rnd: Work as for last row, making 3 sc in last sc (do not turn). Sc in each sc around all outer edges. Break off. Sew rhinestones in place as illustrated. Make another piece the same way. Sew outer edges of both pieces together. With Canary Yellow, sc closely around bone ring. Sew in place.
