Patchwork Denim Blanket
The first step is to prepare a huge amount of old jeans: shirts, vests, jeans. Also stock up on a lot of old cotton shirts, sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers.
Cut clothes into strips along the seams nd then we cut out the details. You can also use an old sheet as a lining.
Cut things into squares. On a bedspread of 180 by two hundred cm in size you will need: one hundred and twenty squares 12 * 12 cm in size, also cut 120 strips of natural fabric, of different sizes - the width should be 60 - 2.5 cm, and the other half two cm.
According to the size of the piles, we distribute shreds of fabric.
Sew a cotton flap to the right or left side. After this, we sew a new patchwork strip from the bottom.
You should get one hundred and twenty blankets from old jeans. We sew each detail together.
You can alternate the shades in a checkerboard pattern, or lay out the dark colors in the middle, and light at the edges.
After that, finished strips are sewn together. You can pre-chop them with pins. Do not move the squares!
After this, sew a frill, for this do not use shreds, it is better to use a cloth.
Sew the strip first from the narrow side of the bedspread, then sew on the second side, and then and so on.
The size of the lining is the size of the bedspread.
