12 DC in circle. Joint to 1st DC. Ch2
1.) 2 DC in each at around (24 DC). Join. Ch2
2.) 2DC in 1st st, DC in next st. Repeat around.(36DC). Join. Ch2
3.) 2DC in 1st st, DC in next 2 st. Repeat around.(48DC)
4.) 2DC in 1st st, DC in next 3 st. Repeat around.(60DC). Join. Ch2
5.) 2DC in 1st st, DC in next 4 st. Repeat around.(72DC). Join. Ch2
6.) 2DC in 1st st, DC in next 5 st. Repeat around.(84dc). Join. Ch2
7.) 2DC in 1st st, DC in next 6 st. Repeat around.(96DC). Join. Ch2
8-10) DC in each st around.(96dc). Join. Ch2
11.) Decrease DC, DC in next 6 st. Repeat around.(84DC). Join. Ch2.
12.) Decrease DC, DC in next 5 st. Repeat around.(72dc). Join. Ch2
13.) Decrease DC, DC in next 4 st. Repeat around.(60DC). Join. Ch1
14.) Decrease DC, DC in next 3 st. Repeat around.(48DC). Join. Ch1
15.) Sc in each st around.(48SC). Join. Ch2.
16-17.) BPDC, FPDC. Repeat around. Join. Ch2. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

A little tip, I crochet with really tight tension. You may need to go up or down a size hook to get correct gauge. I also have a small head and I made this to fit my head(child/teen) so adjust accordingly.
