Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Burgundy – 1 oz, 50 yd (30 g, 46 m)(Peaches & Crème)

Crochet Hook: Size G-6 (4.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: Rnds 1 & 2 = 2½”

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center of Yoke, ch 8, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 1, 20 sc in ring; join with sl st to first sc. (20 sc)

Rnd 2: Ch 6 (counts as first dc and ch 3), skip next sc, dc in next sc, * [ch 3, skip next sc, dc in next sc] * twice, [ch 1, dc in next sc] twice (shoulder); rep from * to * 4 times, [ch 1, dc in next sc] twice (shoulder), ch 3, skip next sc; join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc, 8 ch-3 sps and 4 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 3: Ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), skip next ch, dc in next (center) ch, ch 2, [dc in next dc, ch 2, skip next ch, dc in next ch, ch 2] twice, [dc in next dc, ch 2] 3 times, [skip next ch, dc in next ch, ch 2, dc in next dc, ch 2] 4 times, [dc in next dc, ch 2] twice, skip next ch, dc in next ch, ch 2; join with sl st to first dc. (20 dc and 20 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 4: Ch 6 (counts as first dc and ch 3), [dc in next dc, ch 3] around; join. (20 dc and 20 ch-3 sps)

Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, * [3 sc in ch-3 sp, sc in next dc] 4 times *, [ch 3, sc in next dc] 6 times; rep from * to * once, [ch 3, sc in next dc] 5 times, ch 3; join with sl st to first sc. (44 sc and 12 ch-3 sps) DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Row 1: With right side facing, fold Yoke in half (across shoulders), matching sc sts along bottom, sl st in corresponding sc on other side; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), working through both thicknesses, dc in same st, [dc in next 7 sc, 2 dc in next sc] twice. (20 dc)

Rows 2-5: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), turn, dc in next dc, [ch 1, dc in next dc] across. (20 dc and 19 ch-1 sps)

Row 6: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, [ch 2, sc in next dc] across. (20 sc and 19 ch-2 sps)

Rows 7-11: Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, [ch 2, sc in next sc] across. (20 sc and 19 ch-2 sps)

At the end of Row 11, finish off and weave in ends.
