Materials;

  • Yarn 
  • Crochet Hook: H (5.00 mm)

Gauge: 18 sc stitches x 11 rows = 4 inches square

Scrubby is 4″ in diameter

This scrubby can be made with all cotton or all scrubby yarn.

Glossary:
Ch – chain
Sl st – slip stich
Sc – single crochet
Hdc – half double crochet
Dc – double crochet
Tr – treble crochet

The flower is started in the center with color 1. Then the additional yarns are switched to on the previous round’s last sl st.

With Color 1 – Ch 4 and join with sl st into first chain.

Rnd 1: Ch 1. Make 5 sc into ring. Sl st into first sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 3. Skipping the first sc that you just sl st into, make (1 sc, ch 3) into each of the st of rnd 1. Sl st in last sl st of previous row.

Rnd 3: Make (1 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc, 1 hdc, 1sc in 3-ch loop, sl st in next st) around each ch section of the previous rnd – switch to yarn color 2 on last sl st.

Rnd 4: (Ch 4, sl st in next sl st) into each of the sl sts of rnd 3. End rnd with a sl st into last sl st of previous rnd.

Rnd 5: Make (1sc, 1 hdc, 1dc, 4 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1sc in 4-ch loop, sl st in next st) into each of the sl sts of rnd 4, switching to yarn color 3 on last sl st.

Rnd 6: (Ch 5, sl st in next sl st) into each of the sl sts of rnd 5. End rnd with a sl st into last sl st of previous rnd.

Rnd 7: Make (1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 6 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc in 5-ch loop, sl st in next sl st) into each of the sl sts of rnd 6.

Bind off.
