2nd and all the even rows: as stitches face: knit under knit, purls under purls;
3rd row: repeat the 1st row;
5th row: repeat the 1st row;
7th row: repeat the 1st row;
9th row: 3 knit sts, * 3 purls, 6 knit sts*, repeat from* up to * up to the end of the row, 3 knit sts in the end;
11th row: repeat the 9th row;
13th row: repeat the pattern from the 1st row.
