What would you like to see at Craftorator?
My dear knitters and crochetters!
I have a talkative mood today
Let's discuss what would you like to see at Craftorator? More new patterns? Maybe we should make more "chat" topics, where we can share our thoughts and opinions?
Another question is whether it is simple for you to navigate within the site?
Looking forward to your opinions!
I enjoy crocheting, mostly do afghans, & dishcloths with potholders.
Also- I am a pattern hoarder!!!
I'm an avid crocheter. Tried learning how to knit but just can't seem to get the hang of it. Anyway, I'm learning to loom knit! It'd be nice to see some loom knitting too, especially the «how to» so we can learn new stitches & techniques. Also, if there was a way to organize the search...like if you're looking for crochet or knit as well as categories like...clothing/apparel & under that would be...sweaters, cardigans, ponchos...next would be...hats, gloves, scarves...ect. as well as who its intended for...baby, toddler, child....women, men, neutral ...you could have sections for home decor with subsections of bath, kitchen, storage(baskets), afghans/throws/blankets. It'd make looking for something a whole lot easier! Have an «inspiration» section just for sharing our work & as well as «help» for questions about technique & troubleshooting… «how to» section for learning a new stitch & «what's hot...what's not» for current trends in knit & crochet. A spot to chat with each other like a chat room...🤷♀️… information about how to turn your crafting into a business, displaying & pricing your work to sell, dealing with difficult customers, avoiding costly mistakes & as well as up coming events, new designers & reviews of various yarns. I'd really like a connections section...crochet/knitting artists in our areas who may like to get together for events, coordinate an event, start a club or something, community & charity ideas/projects or just have coffee! 😁! I can't find anyone around here who crochets or knits! I'm not from this area(or state!)so, meeting & making friends in a very small rural town has proven almost impossible.
Thanks a lot for your thoughts!
