Crochet Milk Dress
You’ll need:
450 (500) 550 (600)g of white Bergere de France Coton a Tricoter yarn (100% merino wool; 200m/50g);
Crochet hook 3,5 and 4;
1 zipper 18 cm long.
Size: S (M) L (XL).
Used Patterns
Work in 2 threads of yarn. 1 shell: 4 double crochets, 2 crossed double crochets: skip the first 3 double crochets on the 1st shell, 1 double crochet in the next double crochet, 2 chain sts = 1 arch, then, make 1 double crochet behind in the 1st skipped double crochet of 1 motif in the 2nd row: 1 shell in odd row and 2 crossed double crochets in even row.
Fancy pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1 for base chain + 3 for the beginning of the 1st row.
1st row (RS): 1 shell in the 6th chain st, * skip 3 chain sts, 1 shell in the next chain st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the last chain st in the end of row;
2nd row: 2 chain sts, then, make 2 double crochets in every following shell, make 1 half crochet in the 3rd chain st of the previous row in the end of row;
3rd row: 3 chain sts, then, make 1 shell in every arch of the following 2 chain sts, make 1 double crochet in the 2nd chain st in the end of the previous row.
Make 1st-3rd rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-3rd rows.
Pattern of half-crochets: 1st row (RS): 1 half crochet in the 3rd chain st = the first 2 half crochets, 1 half crochet in every next chain st;
2nd and all the following rows: 2 chain sts increase = 1st half crochet, 1 half crochet in the 2nd half crochet and every following half crochet.
Stitches control: fancy pattern: 24 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Pattern of half-crochets: 18 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Make 116 (124) 132 (144) chain sts with crochet hook 4 and work with fancy pattern, make 28 (30) 32 (35) motifs = 114 (122) 130 (142) sts in the 1st row. In 24 cm = 24 rows from the set-up row, decrease 3 x 1 motif within 6 rows = 22 (24) 26 (29) shells = 90 (98) 106 (118) sts. In 51 cm = 51 rows from the set-up row, change to crochet hook 3,5, make 2 chain sts, 1 half crochet in every of the first 3 double crochets of the next shell, *skip 1 double crochet, 1 half crochet in every of the following 3 double crochets*; repeat from * to *, 1 half crochet in the 2nd chain st in the beginning of row = 68 (74) 80 (89) half crochets.
After that, work with pattern of half crochets, start from the 2nd row, increase 3 x 1 half crochet in every 6th row (3 x 1 half crochet in every 6th row) 3 x 1 half crochet in every 7th row (3 x 1 half crochet in every 7th row), 1 half crochet in the 1s t st, make 2 half crochets in the last st = 74 (80) 86 (95) half crochets.
In 65 (66) 68 (69) cm = 73 (75) 78 (80) rows from the set-up row, finish your work.
Front
Make in the same way, as back.
Straps
Make 55 chain sts with crochet hook 3,5 and make 3 rows of pattern of half crochets and finish your work.
Assembly
Make right side seam of dress. Then, make seam along the second half, leave 18 cm from upper edge for zipper. Sew straps to back and front at 15 (16) 17 (18) cm distance.
