Amigurumi Crochet Coconut
You’ll need:
Any Medium (4) Weight Yarn in Brown and White colors;
Crochet hook 4 mm;
Black thread;
Yarn needle;
Scissors;
Stitch markers.
Size: 5” wide.
Instructions
Outer Shell
Work with brown yarn.
Make 11 chain sts and circle them in the ring.
1st rnd: SC x7 inside circle (7);
2nd rnd: 2 SC in each ST around (14);
3rd rnd: *1 SC in 1st ST, 2 SC in next* (21);
4th rnd: *1 SC in 1st 2 STs, 2 SC in next* (28);
5th rnd: *1 SC in 1st 3 STs, 2 SC in next* (35);
6th rnd: *1 SC in 1st 4 STs, 2 SC in next* (42);
7th rnd: *1 SC in 1st 5 STs, 2 SC in next* (49);
8th rnd: *1 SC in 1st 6 STs, 2 SC in next* (56);
9th-13th rnds: SC in each ST around (56)
Sl st into 1st SC and CH 1. Cut yarn leaving a 2” tail. Set outer shell to the side and move onto the inner layer.
Inner Layer
Work with white yarn.
Make 1 chain st and circle it in the ring.

Assembly
Do not tie off. Using the crochet thread, sew on eyes and smile onto the right side. Place inner layer inside the outer shell making sure all ends from the outer shell are hidden inside. Attach the two pieces together by working 1 SL ST into each piece/ST around. Tie off leaving a 6 tail. Weave in end.
