Knit Turquoise Pullover
You’ll need:
450 (500) 550g of turquoise yarn (100% wool; 100m/50g);
50g of the same yarn, but in sandy and ochre colors;
Knitting needles 4,5 and 5,5;
Circular knitting needles 4,5.

Rib A: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 2 selvage sts. WS rows: selvage st, 1 knit st, * 1 purl, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl, 1 knit st, 1 selvage st; RS row: due to the pattern.
Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.
Pattern of slipped sts: the quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 1, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Make 1st-4th rows x 3 times = 12 rows.
Cables pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 2, in which RS rows are stated. Make WS rows due to the pattern. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-20th rows.
Rib B: the quantity of sts is multiple 3. * 2 knit sts, 1 purl*.
Stitches control: cables pattern: 21 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Pattern of slipped sts: 12 rows = 3,5 cm.

Back
Cast on 98 (104) 113 sts with turquoise yarn and knitting needles 4,5 and make 3,5 cm = 7 rows of rib A, starting with 1 WS row and 2 rows of stockinette stitch, increase 0 (2) 1 st in the last row = 98 (106) 114 sts. Then, make 3,5 cm = 12 rows due to the pattern of slipped sts and 3,5 cm = 10 rows with cables pattern with turquoise yarn and 3,5 cm = 12 rows with pattern of slipped sts. Continue work with cables pattern with turquoise yarn. In 26 cm = 70 rows (24 cm = 64 rows) 21,5 cm = 58 rows from the last patterns change, bind off 1 x 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, bind off 2 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 82 (90) 98 sts. In 43 cm = 116 rows from the last patterns change, bind off the central 14sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 5 sts in every 2nd row. In 46 cm = 124 rows from the last patterns change, bind off the rest 19 (23) 27 sts of each shoulder.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, bind off the central 8 sts in 33,5 cm = 90 rows from the last patterns change, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts and 9 x 1 st in every 2nd row.
Sleeves
Cast on 50 (50) 56 sts with knitting needles 4,5 and turquoise yarn for each sleeve and make placket in the same way, as for back, increase 0 (0) 2 sts in the last row = 50 (50) 58 sts. Then, make 3,5 cm = 12 rows with pattern of slipped sts and knitting needles 5,5. Continue work with cables pattern and turquoise yarn. At the same time, increase 13 x 1 st in every 6th and 8th rows by turn from both sides )17 x 1 st in every 4th and 6th row by turn) 17 x 1 st in every 4th and 6th row by turn = 76 (84) 92 sts. In 37 cm = 100 rows from patterns change, bind off 1 x 5 sts from both sides, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st, 2 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 5 sts in every 2nd row (1 x 3 sts, 7 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 5 sts) 2 x 3 sts, 5 x 2 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 5 sts. In 46 cm = 124 rows from patterns change, bind off the rest 14 (16) 20 sts.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. For trim, cast on 108 sts with circular knitting needles and turquoise yarn and make 3 circle rows with rib B. Then, bind off all sts due to the pattern. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
