​Crochet Top with Chain

You’ll need:

500 (550) 600g of orange yarn (50% cotton, 50% polyester; 90m/50g);

Crochet hook 4,5.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Fancy pattern: 1^st row: double crochets, make 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st double crochet;

2^nd row: relief double crochets through back loop, make 2 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st relief double crochet;

3^rd row: relief double crochet through front loop, make 2 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st relief double crochet. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Chain: consists of separate parts. For the 1^st part, make 8 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with fancy pattern. In 19 cm = 21 rows from the set-up row, finish your work and sew the set-up and final rows. Make the following parts in the same way, but insert them through the previous part before sewing. Totally, make 10 (10) 11 parts and circle them in the ring. For this, insert the last part in the 1^st part before sewing.

Stitches control: 23 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Make 97 (109) 121 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with relief pattern. In 33 cm from the set-up row, bind off 2 sts from both sides for arm-holes and bind off * 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st* in every following row; repeat from * to * x 4 (4) 5 times and bind off 1 x 2 sts. Finish your work on the rest 59 (71) 77 sts in 45 (45) 47 cm from the set-up row.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Assembly

Make side seams. Fasten arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets, connect upper edges of corners of arm-holes. Twist chain around neck-hole and sew.
