Teaching
Hello, my dear crafterers!
I want to wish you a great day today!
Take care of yourselves!
Have you ever taught anyone crochet/knit?
Is it easy for you to explain smth or you prefer to do everything yourselves?

I find it easy to first show the steps slowly, then to wait until the student copies them and to show the step that is confusing them, so that they may work through the process one step at a time with confidence that they are capable of repeating the steps. Then ask them to try it again so that they find practice helping to make the process a little easier each time they repeat the process. When a simple step such as creating the chain for a beginning pattern feels comfortable to the student, they are ready to learn the next simple stitch process. The student seems to learn more easily if she or he actually follows the leader in slowly and successfully reproducing one step of the process at a time.
