Special Stitches

Psc (Picot single crochet) = insert hook, yo, draw loop through, [yo, draw through 1 loop] 3 times to make ch3, yo, draw through both loops on hook. Draw picot chain loops to the back (right side) of fabric.

The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1 + 1 chain st increase.

1st row (RS): sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch to end, turn;

2nd row: Ch 1, sc into first st, *Psc into next st, sc into next st; rep from * to end, turn;

3rd row: Ch 1, sc into first and each st to end, turn Hint: hold down the picot chains at the front and you will see the top 2 loops of the Psc where you are to insert the hook;

4th row: Ch 1, sc into each of first 2 sts, *Psc into next st, sc into next st; rep from * to last st, sc into last st, turn;

5th row: as the 3rd row.

Repeat 2nd-5th rows.
