Puff Stitch: YO, insert hook into indicated st. YO, pull up loop. (YO, insert hook into same st, YO, pull up loop) 2 times. YO, pull through 6 loops on hook, YO pull through last 2 loops on hook.

1^st row: Ch 3 (counts as dc, here and throughout) dc in next 2 sts. *Ch 1, sk next st, puff st in next st. Ch 1, sk next st, dc in next 3 sts. Rep from * across row. Turn.

2^nd row: Ch 1 (does not count as st, here and throughout), sc in first 3 sts. *Sc in next ch sp, sc in next puff st, sc in next ch sp. Sc in next 3 dc. Rep from * across row. Turn.

3^rd row: Ch 3, puff st in next st. *Ch 1, sk next st, dc in next 3 sts. Ch 1, sk next st, puff st in next st. Rep from * until one st is left. Dc in last st. Turn.

4^th row: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sts. *Sc in next ch sp. Sc in next 3 dc. Sc in next ch sp, sc in next puff st. Rep from * till one st left. Sc in last st.

Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.
