The quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 2.

1^st row (base row, RS): 2 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the 4^th st from the crochet hook, 1 double crochet in every st of a chain, turn;

2^nd row (WS): 2 chain sts, * 1 RS relief crochet in the next st, 1 double crochet in the next st, 1 RS relief crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the last st, turn;

3^rd row: 2 chain sts, * 1 double crochet in the next st, 1 RS relief crochet in the next st, 1 double crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the last st, turn.
