You’ll need:

250g of light-brown Luxor yarn (51% merino wool, 49% of microfiber; 150m/50g);

50g of olive Baby Kid yarn (57% merino wool, 43% of microfiber; 200m/50g);

Knitting needles 4,5;

Circular knitting needles 4;

Tapestry needle.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

Garter stitch: knit;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls, in circle rows – knit sts.

Gode (20 sts wide): work with stockinette stitch, decrease 8 x 1 st in every 3rd row from both sides and 8 x 1 st in every 4th row in the following way: the first 2 sts as knit2tog and the last 2 sts as broaching.

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 20 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, in which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the pattern. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Make 35th-40th rows x once, then, repeat 39th-40th rows x 13 times, then, repeat 67th and 68th rows.

Stitches control: 19 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 154 sts with light-brown yarn and make 2 cm of garter stitch, start with WS row. Then, work in the following way: 1 selvage st, the last 10 sts of gode pattern, * 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, 14 sts of stockinette stitch, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, 20 sts of gode pattern*; repeat from * to * x twice, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, 14 sts of stockinette stitch, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, the first 10 sts of gode pattern, 1 selvage st. In 14 cm = 36 rows from placket, there is 1 st in half of gode pattern and 2 sts in the rest gode patterns = 82 sts. Then, work with the main pattern. In 27 cm = 70 rows from placket, increase 1 st from both sides and 4 x 1 st in every 6th row = 92 sts. In 38,5 cm = 100 rows from the placket, bind off 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes, 2 x 2 sts and 12 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 2 x 1 st in every 4th row = 50 sts. In 57 cm = 148 rows from placket, bind off the central 24 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. In 59 cm = 154 rows from placket, bind off the rest 10 sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 51,5 cm = 134 rows from placket, bind off the central 10 sts and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 5 x 1 st in every 2nd row.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams; cast on 96 sts along the neck-hole with light-brown yarn and make 2,5 cm = 6 circle rows of stockinette stitch for placket and bind off all the sts as knit sts. Cast on 92 sts along the edges of arm-holes with light-brown yarn and circular knitting needles. Make embroidery.
