​Knit Pullover with Yellow Embroidery

You’ll need:

150 (175)g of anthracite color Cashmere yarn (94% cashmere; 6% sheep wool; 112m/25g);

100 (125)g of the same yarn, but in light-grey color;

25g of the same yarn, but in yellow color;

Knitting needles 5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Stripes order: * 30 anthracite rows, 30 light-grey rows*; repeat from * to *.

Stitches control: 19,5 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 94 (102) sts with anthracite yarn and work with stockinette stitch due to the stripes order. At the same time, decrease 12 x 1 st in every 12^th row from both sides of the set-up row for better fitting = 86 (94) sts. In 25 cm = 62 rows (23,5 cm = 58 rows) from the set-up row, increase 1 st from both sides and 3 x 1 st in every 10^th row = 94 (102) sts. In 40 cm = 100 rows (38,5 cm = 96 rows) from the set-up row, bind off 2 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 80 (88) sts. In 58,5 cm = 146 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 36 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts in the next 2^nd row from inwards. In 60 cm = 150 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 20 (24) sts of shoulder from each side.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 56 cm = 140 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 20 sts and 3 x 3 sts, 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row.

Sleeves

Cast on 58 (64) sts with anthracite yarn and work with stockinette stitch due to the patterns order. At the same time, decrease 4 x 2 sts in every 6^th row from both sides = 42 (48) sts. In 12 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 st from sides for sleeve chamfers and 12 x 1 st in every 6^th and 8^th rows by turn = 68 (74) sts. In 50,5 cm = 126 rows from the set-up row, bind off 6 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 4 x 1 st, 5 x 2 sts (1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 4 x 1 st, 3 x 2 sts and 2 x 3 sts) in every 2^nd row. In 60 cm = 150 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 18 (20) sts.

Assembly

Embroider all the crossing of colors with 2 threads of yellow yarn in the center of each strip with running stitch. Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
