​Relief Crochet Stripes Pattern

Make 12 chain sts.

1^st row: * 1 knit st, 2 purls*, 1 knit st, 2 purls, 1 knit st;

2^nd and all the even rows: due to the pattern:

3^rd row: as the 1^st row;

5^th row: * skip the first 3 sts, draw long st from the 4^th st slip it to 4 rows lower, hang it before the 1^st knit st and make them as knit2tog, 2 purls, 1 knit st, 1 purls*; draw the long st once again, make them as knit2tog with the next st, 2 purls, 1 knit st;

7^th row: * skip the first 3 sts, draw the long st from the same st, in which you previously insert the knitting needle, hang it to the LH needle and make knit2tog with the next st, 2 purls, 1 knit st, 2 purls*; make long st as knit2tog with the next knit st, 2 purls, 1 knit st;

9^th row: as the 5^th and 7^th rows;

11^th row: * 1 knit st, 2 purls*, 1 knit st, 2 purls, 1 knit st;

13^th row: * 1 knit st, 2 purls, return to the level of the 1^st knit st and slip 4 rows lowers, draw long st. Hang it on the LH needle and make knit2tog together with the next st, 2 purls*; 1 knit st, 2 purls, draw long st in the same way and make knit2tog;

15^th row: * 1 knit st, 2 purls, draw long st in the same way, as in the 13^th row and make knit2tog with the next st, 2 purls*, 1 knit st, 2 purls, make knit2tog from long st and next knit st;

17^th row: as the 13^th and 15^th rows;

19^th row: *1 knit st, 2 purls*, 1 knit st, 2 purls, 1 knit st.

Repeat 5^th-20^th rows.
