Relief Crochet Pullover

You’ll need:

350 (400) 450g of grey Mikonos yarn (81% viscose, 19% linen; 95m/50g);

350 (400) 450g of the same yarn, but in turquoise color;

Knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern with cables (12 sts wide): work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the ornament, yarn overs – as purls. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows.

Pattern for crochet hook (8 sts wide): work due to the scheme 1, turn as it’s stated. Repeat the sts of pattern, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

Lace pattern (8 sts wide): work due to the scheme 2. Start every circle row with the stated quantity of chain sts instead of the 1^st st and finish with 1 slip st. Repeat the pattern. Make 1^st-3^rd rows x once.

Stitches control: 15 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern for crochet hook: 17 sts x 6 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: make pattern design in natural size.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 74 (80) 86 sts and work with relief pattern with cables between selvage sts, start from arrow A (B) A. In 45 cm from the set-up row, bind off the sts. Then, work along the bound off edge with pattern for crochet hook and turquoise yarn, repeat the pattern x 10 (11) 12 times + 1 double crochet. In 18 (19) 20 cm from patterns change, make decreases for the neck-hole on the central 20 (22) 24 cm due to the pattern design. Finish both sides separately. In 20 (21) 22 cm from patterns change, bind off the sts of back.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 8 (9) 10 cm from patterns change, make decreases on the central 20 (22) 24 cm due to the pattern design. Finish both sides separately. Finish this detail at the height of back.

Sleeves

Make 41 chain sts + 2 chain sts increase by means of crochet hook and turquoise yarn and work with pattern for the crochet hook. Make increases for chamfer, matching with the pattern design. In 44 cm from the beginning of work, finish your sleeve.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves, match the middle with shoulder seam. Make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the neck-hole with lace pattern, making 12 (13) 14 pattern repeats with turquoise yarn. Fasten the bottom part of sleeves with the same pattern and yarn, making 5 pattern repeats.
