Nice Pink Tunic
Nice Pink Tunic

You’ll need:

450 (500)g of pink Anima yarn (53% cotton, 47% zein fibre; 105m/50g);

Knitting needles 4,5;

Crochet hook 3,5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

Pattern for lower fringe: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-2nd rows.

Net pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 2 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 2, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls, if 2 yarn overs, make the 1st of them as purl, the 2nd – as knit sts. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-2nd rows.

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme 3, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-10th rows.

Special decreases: in the beginning of row after 1 selvage st: 1 knit st and 1 broaching (= slip 1 knit st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped st); in the end of row before 1 selvage st: knit2tog and 1 knit st.

Patterns order: 38 rows of pattern for lower fringe, 2 rows of stockinette stitch, decrease 0 (1) st in the last row = 103 (112) sts, 14 rows of net pattern, 2 rows of stockinette stitch, decrease 50 (53) sts in the last row = 53 (59) sts. Make the rest sts with the main pattern.

Stitches control: pattern for lower fringe, stockinette stitch, net pattern: 18 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Main pattern: 11,5 sts x 28,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back/Front

Cast on 103 (113) sts and make 1,5 cm = 3 rows of wrong-side pattern for the placket, start with 1 WS row. Then, work due to the previously mentioned pattern order. Decrease 6 sts in the 22nd row of the main pattern for better fitting = 47 (53) sts. Then, decrease, 2 x 1 st in every 16th row from side chamfers = 43 (49) sts. In 21 cm = 60 rows from the last row of stockinette stitch, make raglan chamfers from both sides as 1 special decrease. Repeat this decrease x 8 times in every 4th and 6th rows by turn (8 x every 6th row). In 35,5 cm = 102 rows (38,5 cm = 110 rows) from the last row of stockinette stitch, bind off the rest 25 (31) sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 59 (62) sts and make 1 WS row of purls. Then, work with net pattern, repeat the pattern, at the same time, make 1 special decrease for raglan chamfers from both sides. Repeat this decrease x 2 (5) times in every 4th row and x 11 (8) times in every 2nd row. In 14,5 cm = 32 rows (17,5 cm = 38 rows) from the set-up row, bind off the rest 31 (34) sts.

Assembly

Make raglan and side seams. Fasten the neck-hole line and edges of sleeves with 1 circle row of single crochets and picot: 1 single crochet, 1 picot above 1 single crochet of the previous row, finish with 1 slip st on the 1st single crochet.
