1^st row: 4 chain sts increase, 1 double crochet in the next chain st, skip 1 chain st, * 3 double crochets in the next chain st, skip 1 chain st, 1 double crochet in the next 4 chain sts, skip 1 chain st*; repeat from * to *, 3 double crochets in the next chain st, skip 1 chain st, 1 double crochet in the last 2 chain sts;

2^nd row: 3 chain sts increase, 5 double crochets in the middle of 3 double crochets of the previous row, * skip 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet in the next 2 double crochets, 5 double crochets in the middle of 3 double crochets of the previous row*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the chain st increase of the previous row;
