​Crochet Filet Heart Pattern

You’ll need:

100% cotton yarn (200m/50g);

Crochet hooks 1,5-1,6.

White squares on the scheme – empty, work in the following way: 3 chain sts, * 1 chain st, 1 double crochet*;

Red squares on the scheme – filled, work in the following way: * 2 double crochets*.

Instructions

Make 26 chain sts.

1^st row: double crochet in the 6^th chain st from the crochet hook (1^st square), * 1 chain st, skip 1 st, double crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to * to end of row (you should get 11 squares), turn;

2^nd row: 4 chain sts, * skip 1 st, double crochet in the next st, 1 chain st*; repeat from * to * x 4 times, skip the next st, double crochet in the next 3 sts, * 1 chain st, skip 1 st, double crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to * x 5 times, turn;

3^rd-10^th rows: continue work due to the scheme. After finishing the 10^th row, don’t turn your work.

Fringe

1^st round: 1 chain st, * 2 single crochets in every square along the side, 4 single crochets in the corner st*; repeat from * to * along each side, circle the row by means of slip st = 84 crochets. Don’t’ turnyourwork;

2^nd round: 1 chain st, single crochet in the 1^st st, 2 chain sts, skip 1 st, * single crochet in the next st, 2 chain sts, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to * to end of row, circle the row by means of slip st.

Fasten the yarn, cut it and weave in the end.
