You’ll need:

Red Heart Comfort Yarn;

Crochet hook 5,5 mm.

Stitches control: approximately 2.5″ across from side to side of first round, and 2.75″ across the loops of first round.

Used Patterns

Beg Shell: (Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in the same sp or shell.

Shell: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) all in the same sp or shell.

Instructions

Ch 6, join with sl st to first ch.

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout) work another 2 dc in same ch, ch 2, (3 dc, ch 2) in next 5 chs, join with sl st in first dc. (6 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 2: Sl st into next 2 dc and into ch-2 sp, work (beg shell, ch 1) in same sp, (shell, ch 1) in next 5 ch-2 sps, join with sl st in first dc. (6 shells and 6 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 3: Sl st into next 2 sts and into sp of shell, work (beg shell, ch 3) in same sp, (shell, ch 3) in next 5 shells, join with sl st in first dc. (6 shells and 6 ch-3 sps)

Rnd 4: Sl st into next 2 sts and into sp of shell, work (beg shell, ch 5) in same sp, (shell, ch 5) in next 5 shells, join with sl st in first dc.(6 shells and 6 ch-5 sps)

Rnd 5: Sl st into next 2 sts and into sp of shell, work (beg shell, ch 7) in same sp, *sc around the sps of rnds 2, 3 and 4, ch 7,** (shell, ch 7) in next shell, rep from * around ending last rep at **, join with sl st in first dc. (6 shells and 12 ch-7 sps)

Rnd 6: Sl st into next 2 sts and into sp of shell, work (beg shell, ch 2) in same sp, *(3 dc, ch 2) in next 2 sps,** (shell, ch 2) in next shell, rep from * around ending last rep at **, join with sl st in first dc. (6 shells and 36 dc)

Rnd 7: Sl st into next 2 sts and into sp of shell, work (beg shell, ch 2) in same sp, [(3 dc, ch 2) in next sp] 3 times, *(shell, ch 2) in next shell, (3 dc, ch 2) in next sp, (shell, ch 2) in next sp, (3 dc, ch 2) in next sp, rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc. (11 shells and 39 dc)
