Used Patterns
Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.
Relief stripe: is made on the even quantity of sts with straight/reversed rows, 1st and last sts – selvedge sts.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th rows: knit sts;
4th row: *1 yarn over, purl2tog*; repeat from * to * on all the sts.
Repeat 1st-6th rows once.
*Relief stripe: is made on the even quantity of sts around.
1st, 3rd, 5th rows: knit sts;
2nd, 6th rows: purls;
4th row: * 1 yarn over, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * on all the sts.
Repeat 1st-6th rows.
Relief pattern A: the quantity of sts is multipled 10 + 1 + 2 selvedge sts. Work due to the scheme 1, on which only right-side rows are stated, in wrong-side rows make all the sts and yarn overs – as purls. Make 1 selvedge st, pattern repeat, finish pattern repeat, 1 selvedge st. Repeat 1st-22nd rows once.
Relief pattern B: the quantity of sts is multipled 16 + 7 (1) 11 sts + 2 selvedge sts. Make in the same way, as relief pattern A, but due to the scheme 2. Start with 1 selvedge st, last 11 (0) 5 sts of pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with the first 12 (1) 6 sts of pattern repeat and 1 selvedge st.
Relief pattern C: the quantity of sts is multipled 10 + 1 + 2 selvedge sts. Make in the same way, as relief pattern A, but due to the scheme 3. Start with 1 selvedge st, pattern repeat, finish the sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-26th rows once.
Net pattern: the quantity of sts is even. Start and finish the row with selvedge st. RS and WS rows: * 1 yarn over, purl2tog*; repeat from *to * on all the sts of the row.
Patterns Order
Start with 6 rows of the relief stripe, increase 1 st in the last row, 22 rows of relief pattern A, 6 rows of relief striped (decrease 1 st in the 1st row, increase 1 st in the last row), 16 rows of relief pattern B, 6 rows of relief stripe, 26 rows of relief pattern C, 6 rows of relief stripe, decrease 1 st in the 1st row. Knit the rest sts with net pattern, the 1st row – RS.
Stitches control: 15,5 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back and Front
Both details are made in the same way.
Cast on 72 (82) 92 sts and work due to the schemes and patterns order. After knitting 36,5 cm (88 rows) from the lower row, decrease 3 sts for raglan chamfers and 1st x 14 (16) 18 in every even row. Make decreases due to the following description: 1 selvedge st, 2 sts of stockinette stitch, knit2tog as broaching. Slip 1 st as knit st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped. Knit all the sts to last 5 sts. Knit the 5th and 4th sts from the end together as knit st, 2 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 selvedge st. In 118 rows = 49 cm (122 rows = 50,5 cm) 126 rows = 52 cm from the lower edge, bind off the rest 38 (44) 50 sts.
Sleeves
Cast on 42 (46) 52 sts. Make 6 rows of the relief stripe, then turn to the net pattern. In 30 rows = 12,5 cm from the bottom, increase 1 st from both sides for sleeves widening and 1 st x 5 in every 4th and 6th rows. You should get 54 (58) 64 sts. Include the increased sts in the pattern. After 56 rows = 23,5 cm from the bottom part, make raglan chamfers, as it was previously described. In 86 rows = 36 cm (90 rows = 37,5 cm) 94 rows = 39 cm from the bottom, bind off the rest 20 (20) 22 sts.
Assembly
Make raglan seams. Leave 90 (100) 112 sts along the neck-hole with circle knitting needles, make 6 round rows with relief stripe and bind off the sts as knit sts. Make sleeve and side seams.
