You'll need:

Canvas with embroidery 35 x 40 cm;

Fabric for patchwork: 45 x 35 cm piece for back, 20 x 35 cm for front;

Ric rac lace.

Instructions

Prepare the materials and embroider the front of the pillow according to the pattern. The planned pillow size is 40 x 30 cm. Cut the fabrics according to the list of materials.

Fold the embroidered element and the fabric in a strip face to face, align it to the left edge (on the front side) and sew to make a single canvas for the front side of the pillow.

Sew a zigzag tape to the seam with neat stitches. To do this, you can use monofilament or floss thread to match the braid.

Fold one edge on both parts of the colored fabric for the backdrop. Put one piece with the edge folded over the embroidery face to face above the middle.

Lay the second part with a curled edge overlapping on top. Stitch on the machine around the perimeter, stepping back from the edge of 1.5 cm.

Form corners by cutting off excess fabric around the edges. Turn the resulting pillowcase onto the front side, iron and insert the pillow.

When you insert the filler into the pillow, you can also put inside the bag with aromatic herbs.
