​Rice Field Crochet Stitch

This stitch pattern is very tight, but it isn't rough. It's perfect for such clothing as jackets, skirts, shawls etc. Also, it's very simple.

The quantity of sts is multipled 2 + 1 st for the symmetry + 2 chain sts increase.

1st row: 2 chain sts, * 1 single crochet + 1 double crochet in the 3rd st, skip 1 st*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 double crochet;

2nd row: 2 chain sts increase, * 1 single crochet + 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 single crochet.

Repeat the 2nd row.
