You'll need:

Pullover and shirt of the same size;

Dress-making scissors;

Measuring tape;

Needle;

Threads;

Aqua-marker;

Safety pins;

Elastic ribbon.

Instructions

Cut off the bottom of the shirt.

On the pullover, determine the waist line of the future product. It can also be overestimated or understated. Draw a line and cut the lower part along it. We need only the top of the pullover.

Align the edge of the cut bottom of the shirt with the maximum stitch length.

On the top of the pullover with an aqua marker, mark the middle of the front and back.

Knit the top of the pullover with the bottom of the shirt, aligning the middle of the front and back and along the side seams.

Assemble the lower part.

Stitch the upper and lower parts of the pullover.

Cut an elastic ribbon with a length equal to the waist circumference + 3 cm, taking into account the seam allowance.

Stitch the elastic ribbon into the ring.

Pin the elastic ribbon to the seam of attaching the bottom part to the top part of the pullover in several places with safety pins.

Stitch the elastic ribbpn close to the seam with a zigzag stitch. At the same time, pull the elastic ribbon slightly.
