How to Change Color of Yarn in Crochet

You can start working with new yarn at any place, but it's better to make it at the end of row.

For working with new color of yarn you need to crochet until there are 2 sts left on the crochet hook. Then, take the old yarn and "tail" (leave 15 cm to hide) of new yarn with 3 fingers of your right hand, which hold the crochet hook. Twist the yarn around your left hand fingers as usual and catch the yarn with the crochet hook, draw through these 2 sts on the crochet hook, finishing st this way.

Then, you need to make 2 more sts, pull the threads, which are left at the place, when you insert the new yarn. You can make temporary sailor's knot, and when your work will be finished, turn and crochet these sts to hide.
