Hand-Made Soap with Dry Flowers
You'll need:
Clear glycerin melt and pour soap base;
White glycerin melt and pour soap base;
Dry flowers;
Rubbing alcohol;
Essential oils;
Silicone mold;
2 heat-proof measuring cups;
Stir sticks.
Instructions
Drop the flowers into the bottom of the mold.
Melt the clear glycerin soap base in the microwave for 30 seconds, then intervals of 10 seconds until completely melted.
Mix in a few drops of essential oils and stir.
Pour into the mold over the flower about halfway up.
Wait for it to harden: about 8 minutes. Then spray rubbing alcohol over the top of the clear glycerin.
Melt the white glycerin soap base in the microwave for 30 seconds, then 10 second intervals until completely melted.
Optional: add a few more drops of essential oils to the white glycerin if you want more fragrance in your soap.
Pour melted white glycerin on top of the clear base already in the mold.
Wait an hour for soap to harden.
Another option is to add food coloring to your clear glycerin to make colored soaps.
