Ice Yarns Atlas (bulky #5), 100% Acrylic, 100gr, 130mt a skein, for this sample I used 3 skeins.

Hook: US Size (7 mm)

Yarn Needle, Scissors, Measuring Tape

10 st X 8 rows (4” X 4”)

This sample is 12” X 66”.

Ch = Chain

Sc = Single Crochet

St = Stitch

Dc = Double Crochet

Hdc = Half Double Crochet

This pattern uses US terminology.

This pattern is worked in rows.

Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.

You can work this pattern with one color or multiple as you wish. I used one solid color.

This pattern calls for a multiple of 5+1.

Chain 20+1.

Row 1: Hdc 1 in 2nd ch from hook, hdc 1 in next and across to end of row, ch 1 and turn work.

Row 2: Hdc 1 in 1st ch from hook, hdc 1 in next 4 st, ch 10, SlSt to same st *[hdc 1 in next 5 st, ch 10, SlSt to same st]* repeat from *to *, finish with 5 hdc, ch 1 and turn work.

Row 3: Hdc 1 in 1st ch from hook, hdc 1 in next 4 st, move the ch loop towards you and hdc 1 in next st, and across to end of row, ch 1 and turn work.

Row 4-10: Repeat rows 2+3.

Row 11: Hdc 1 in 1st ch from hook, hdc 1 in next 4 st, ch 10, SlSt to same st *[hdc 1 in next 5 st, ch 10, SlSt to same st]* repeat from *to *, finish with 5 hdc, ch 1 and turn work.

Insert each loop into the next to form the cable as shown in the photo.

Row 12: Hdc 1 in 1st ch from hook, hdc 1 in next 3 st, hdc 1 grabbing the ch loop in next st (as shown in photo), hdc 1 in next 4 st and again work a hdc 1 grabbing the ch loop across to end of row. Finish with hdc 1 in the last 5 st.

Rows 13-17: Hdc 1 in 1st st from hook, hdc 1 in next and in every st across.

Repeat rows 2-17 for a total of 7 times.

Final Row

Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.

You can add tassels or fringe to the scarf as you wish.
