Materials:

Worsted Weight Cotton
-approx. 180 yards w/o tassels

Crochet hook in size H/5mm

Wooden beads, if desired, for tassels

Gauge: Unimportant

Pattern Notes:

Pattern written using US terms.

For this pattern we are using double crochet stitches and crossed double crochet stitches.

Crossed Double Crochet

Tr = Treble Crochet 

Pattern:

Round 1: Magic circle, ch-2, 10dc in circle. Join to top of first dc. (10)

Round 2: Ch-2, turn, 2dc in each st around. Join to top of first dc. (20)

Round 3: Ch-2, turn, * dc in next 4 sts, (2dc, Tr, 2dc) in next st * repeat between * * 3 more times. Join to top of first dc. (36)

Round 4: Ch-2, turn, [ * sk next st, dc in next, dc in skipped st * repeat between * * to corner, (2dc, Tr, 2dc) in corner st] 4x, repeat between * * to end. Join to top of first st.

Round 5: Ch-2, turn, [dc in each st to corner, (2dc, Tr, 2dc) in corner st] 4x, dc in each st to end. Join to top of first st.

Rounds 6 through 13: alternate previous two rounds

Round 14: repeat round 4

Round 15: Ch-2, turn, [dc in each st to corner, (2dc, ch-1, 2dc) in corner st] 4x, dc in each st to end. Fasten off using Invisible Join. Weave in all ends.

Hangers (make four):

Either make a chain of 51 sts, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each to end OR make a Foundation Single Crochet of 50 (or longer if needed/desired).

Fasten off and weave in ends. Feed them through the holes in round 15 and secure to chair legs.
