Size 10 Crochet Cotton in color of choice. Southmaid was used in the example.
Size 8 Steel crochet hook
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn Thickness: 10thread
Gauge: 10sc = 1"
Finished Size: 2" x 6"
Skill Level: Intermediate

Instructions
Granny Square
Make 3 the same
RND 1: Ch6. Join w/slst to first ch to form ring. Ch5. *Dc in ring. Ch2. Rep from * 6 times more. Join w/slst to 3rd ch of ch5. (8ch2 sps)

RND 2: Slst into the first ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. Sc in next ch2 sp. *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Sc in next ch2 sp. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 3: Slst in each of the next 2 dc and in next ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. (Ch1. Dc, ch1, dc in next sc. Ch1.) *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3.

RND 4: Slst into each of the next 2dc and into the next ch2 sp. Ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in same sp. (Ch1. Dc, ch1, dc in each of the next 3 ch1 sps. Ch1.) *3dc, ch2, 3dc in next ch2 sp. Rep bet () once. Rep from * around. Join w/slst to top of ch3. Fasten off but leave the finishing end about 10" long for stitching pieces together.

Stitch the 3 pieces together using a lacing stitch to make the seams flat. Stitch them together so they form a long skinny strip.

Perimeter Join thread in center ch1 sp on one short end. Ch3, 2dc, picot, 3dc in same sp. 3dc in next ch1 sp. Sc in next ch1 sp.
