Crochet Hook: Size G-6 (4.25 mm)

DISHCLOTH:

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, ch 3, join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 2 dc in ring, ch 2, [3 dc in ring, ch 2] 3 times; join with sl st to first dc. (12 dc and 4 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 2: Ch 3, turn, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in ch-2 sp, ch 1, [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1] around; join as before. (24 dc, 4 ch-2 sps and 4 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 3: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, [3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1] around; join as before. (36 dc, 4 ch-2 sps and 8 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 4: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in ch-2 sp, ch 1, [3 dc in next 2 ch-1 sps, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1] around, ending with 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; join as before. (48 dc, 4 ch-2 sps and 12 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 5: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in ch-2 sp, ch 1, [3 dc in next 3 ch-1 sps, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1] around, ending with 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; join as before. (60 dc, 4 ch-2 sps and 16 ch-1 sps) DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Edging

Rnd 1: DO NOT TURN. Sl st in next dc (center dc of 3-dc group), ch 3, 4 dc in same dc, skip next dc, sc in next ch-sp, skip next dc, [5 dc in next dc, skip next dc, sc in next ch-sp, skip next dc] around; join as before. (20 shells and 20 sc) Finish off and weave in ends.
